Ginnifer Design Shoes for Charity (@ginnygoodwin)

SUCH a cute shoe – its available for sale HERE

Milk and Honey shoes was founded by two sisters, Ilissa and Dorian Howard (a former Paramount executive), and we can’t think of a better idea: A site where you can create your own shoes, with your choice of heel height, shape, color and embellishment. Aren’t we always complaining that the shoes never come in the right color, size or heel height?

Now Ginnifer Goodwin is designing her own pair, and all kinds of actresses are getting into the act.
The “Ginnifer” shoe is part of Milk and Honey’s new charity initiative, and ten percent of its proceeds will go to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. It’s part of their new “Generous Soles” program — a celebrity-driven program where 100 percent of the profits from each pair sold goes to the charity of the celebrity designer’s choice. The first “Generous Soles” design, along with Goodwin’s, came from Kate Mara. Currently, Milk and Honey is featuring the next Carrie Bradshaw, actress AnnaSophia Robb. Up next will be Malin Ackerman, Amber Valletta, Whitney Cummings and Mindy Kaling, who will all partner with various charities throughout the year.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be launching this program and can think of no better combination than Ginnifer and St. Jude’s,” says Ilissa. Dorian adds, “Ginnifer represents exactly the elegance and grace we, as a company, strive to emulate. Her style is unique, playful and effortless; her spirit is as big as her heart.”

Says Ginnifer, “Growing up in Memphis, I have always admired St. Jude’s for the magnificent work they do. Knowing that I would be contributing even in this small way made designing this shoe really special. My stylist, Penny Lovell, and I came up with the idea to do a classic beautiful shoe in a fun standout color and I love this shade of orange.”Goodwin designed a closed toe pump in tangerine leather with a 5” heel and .5” inside platform.

Ginnifer preview’s this week’s Once Upon a Time

Get ready to see a different side of Snow White.
On this Sunday’s Once Upon a Time (ABC, 8/7c), the future princess is out to kill the Evil Queen, and she’s determined to get the job done to an unhealthy degree. But how did the mild-mannered, sweet heroine become a potential murderess?
Not surprisingly the mysterious Rumpelstiltskin is partly to blame. “I didn’t think about the repercussions of taking a potion that would erase the memory of love,” says Ginnifer Goodwin, referring to the concoction Rumple gave Snow to make her forget Prince Charming. “That it would effect you in very logical ways in all aspects of life.”
Turns out that mix Snow drank has made her a little unhinged. “She definitely walks a different road [in this episode],” continues Goodwin.

Ginnifer interview in the LA Times

What’s been your favorite plotline as the series has unfolded? How Grumpy became grumpy?

I’m especially partial to the Snow White/Prince Charming journey, which is why I signed on. Separating myself from the joy I find in being part of that storyline, I would say that I love the Rumpelstiltken-Belle story. I love the idea that he’s the Beast — and why not? There’s nothing in that story that implies that it could not have been the same Beast.

What do you make of the challenges that David and Mary Margaret have been facing this season? It’s worse than Ross and Rachel!

I love their storyline. It’s frustrating to play, and as an audience member, I’m certainly throwing things at the television. But it’s also — I feel it’s so relatable. And I don’t mean because people often find themselves in situations where they’re in love with married men.

Once Upon a Time Scoops from E!

@girlgoneveggie: Any scoop on Once Upon a Time? Not having a new episode to look forward to this Sunday makes me sad. :(
You think you’re a little down? Well, prepare for major fallout after Kathryn’s (Anastasia Griffith) disappearance, like our dear Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) being arrested by her own daughter Emma (Jennifer Morrison) kind of major. And wait, it gets even better! Guess who’s going to be representing Mary Margaret in court? Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle)! This should end well…
